When I quit my full time job two years ago, I was at an all-time low. I had been a Creative Director for so many years and loved the glamorous parts of the career I’d built, but let me tell you- my life behind the scenes was nowhere near glamorous. I was wrecked with anxiety- physical pains, foggy head, constantly stuck in fight or flight mode. I had risen as high as I could at my workplace, and knew that what I really wanted was to work for myself.
I put off starting my own business for a long time because I thought I was "too emotional." My mindset and programming told me that I was too sensitive for the entrepreneur world. I was so worried that owning a business would make my anxiety worse and wasn't sure if I could handle the pressure.
I spent a lot of time studying business and getting to know myself as an empath, highly sensitive person, and introvert. And then one day…I made the leap and have never looked back.
This past year has been even more rewarding than I could have imagined, because I've used my background to make small business owners' lives better.
